Something new in Taborea: As you surely already know, we organise exciting events throughout the year to provide a fun change of pace, but now these events also offer major advantages! Each month, you can earn additional event rewards and use them to create cool new pets that give you powerful buffs. The more rewards you collect, the greater the advantages you’ll get! These pets are just what you’ve been waiting for! Read on to find out more.
Creating Zodiac Pets:
Take part in events to get the rewards needed to create your Zodiac Pets. We’ll take a look at the Craft Festival as an example of how to create these pets and take advantage of the buffs that come with them.
Several festival NPCs assign you tasks with various rewards.
The Rewards:
By successfully taking part in an event, you will receive elemental powder, which you can collect and process into the first component of your Zodiac Pet. There are four different types:
Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire.

By completing event tasks, you also have a 15-20% chance of receiving a Pet Crystal, which is the second component needed for your Zodiac Pet.
You can get a different crystal from each event. Each crystal is also associated with one of the four elements, Wind, Water, Earth, and Fire, and the name of the crystal determines which pet you will receive when you add the corresponding elemental substance.
Your pets will initially be in the Newborn stage, but you can later upgrade them to get Adult and even Legendary pets.
A Newborn pet guarantees you a 20% bonus to XP and TP gain, and to item drop rate as well. Stage 2 and 3 Zodiac Pets will prompt you to select a buff when you summon them for the first time.
This buff will then be tied to the pet permanently, so you only get one chance to select it. Consider carefully whether you need better defence or an increased critical hit rate, for example.
If you have several different Zodiac Pets, you can activate one buff per pet and thus benefit from up to three buffs at the same time.
For example, you can increase your item drop rate by 145% with the following combination: Newborn Pet = 20% + Adult Pet = 50% + Legendary Pet = 75%.
Each buff remains active for 3 hours from the first time you summon the pet each day, including offline time.
The table below shows which buffs are available for the Adult and Legendary Zodiac Pets. So, as you can see, there are plenty of options!

- 5% more TP from combat
- +2% to all attributes
- +3% to Physical and Magical Defense
Legendary Zodiac Pet
- +75% to Item Drop Rate
- 40% more XP from combat
- 7% more HP/MP
- 10% more TP from combat
- +3% to all attributes
- +5% to Physical and Magical Defense
- +120 to Physical and Magical Critical Hit Rates
- 10% more XP and TP from quests
- 10% less damage received from other players
The type of pet does not affect the buff selection. You can own several Zodiac Pets and assign them all different buffs. You can also talk to the NPC Norah Kalesy in front of the Varanas bridge for more useful information on the Zodiac Pets.
Combining Components in the Arcane Transmutor:
In order to create your Zodiac Pet, you will need the Arcane Transmutor and an ample supply of charges. You might want to have a look at our tutorial on the Arcane Transmutor before you begin.
First you have to process the elemental powder you received as an event reward into more valuable substances. There are five different quality grades.
You must combine 3 units of the same element and grade in order to reach each new quality grade.

The elemental substance and a Pet Crystal of the same element are then placed in the Arcane Transmutor.

The Craft Festival is all about using various spells to hit energy balls of the same colour. The larger the ball you hit, the more points you’ll get. If you don’t time your shot right or hit a ball of the wrong colour, the ball will explode and you won’t get any points. So the rewards for the events depend not only on the month, but also on your performance.
A third reward, unique to the Craft Festival, are Universal Components, which can be exchanged for Craft Festival Celebration Certificates and elemental powder with Myden Neil at the city gate of Varanas.
Six Craft Festival Celebration Certificates can then be traded in for crafting recipes or potions with the Craft Festival Cashier at the Central Plaza of Varanas.
